Construction Manager at Risk for historic renovation and tenant fit-out services at 960 Main Street, formerly the G. Fox Building. KBE managed approximately 800,000 s.f. of the construction work on this occupied 83-year old structure, including all common areas, main lobby, and retail and office components. Built in 1917, with subsequent additions and updates, the 11-story facility was a thriving department store until 1993. Its Art Deco style makes it a major downtown focal point. The project demanded tremendous planning and coordination, with multiple concurrent projects at the restricted downtown site.
Noteworthy: “KBE’s preconstruction and construction expertise has been invaluable in the planning and execution of this enormously difficult project. The unwavering dedication of KBE’s staff enabled this project to run flawlessly…from start to finish.” Anthony Autorino, Developer
