Preconstruction Manager and General Contractor for award-winning transformation of 56,000 sf abandoned, six-story office building into state-of-the-art digital broadcast and production center for Connecticut Public Broadcasting. Responsibilities included preconstruction services, value engineering, and general contracting for the 50,000 sf gut renovation and 5,600 sf addition.
High-efficiency mechanical systems and 24/7 uninterruptible power supply support the studios’ high-tech broadcast equipment. A separate, two-story addition encompassing 5,600 sf houses two broadcast studios, each meeting the public broadcast company’s exacting acoustical and technological requirements.
