GROTON, Conn., Dec. 14, 2012 — KBE Building Corporation has broken ground for a new commissary at the Naval Submarine Base in Groton, CT.
The $14.5 million project will consist of a 57,000 square foot commissary with a general sales area, electronic checkout registers, receiving area, loading dock, meat and produce preparation areas, cold and freeze storage, and other supporting areas.
