HARTFORD, Conn., July 20, 2012 — KBE Building Corporation has begun phase two of renovations on the Asian Studies Academy in Hartford, Connecticut.
The $8.2 million, three-phase project consists of selective demolition and renovation that includes a new bus drop off area, playgrounds, a new storm and sanitary drainage system, replacement of interior doors and hardware, a new entrance storefront, a new telecommunications system, a multipurpose room, a United Nations room, and renovations to the main lobby and existing locker rooms.
The school holds 750 students in grades ranging from pre-kindergarten to eighth, and will remain occupied throughout construction. The project is slated for completion in December of 2012.
