Laying the Foundation
for Success.
At KBE, you won’t just shadow—you’ll lead. We give you real responsibilities and projects from day one. You will become part of the KBE Team.
We’re not here to check boxes, we’re here to build the next generation of construction industry leaders.
Join the Team. Not the Sidelines.
We don’t believe in shadowing. Our interns take on real responsibilities, get mentored by leaders, and build the kind of confidence that leads to full-time careers. You'll be seen, supported, and set up to grow. Build confidence, skill, and meaningful connections through an internship that leads to lasting opportunity.
12-Week Construction Internship at KBE
During your summer at KBE, you’ll dive into preconstruction and field operations. Here’s what your experience might include:
Supporting project startups and closeouts
Managing RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
Attending team meetings and contributing to punch‑lists
Assisting estimators with bid preparations and data management
Working on active job sites under experienced supervision
We look for enthusiastic, curious students ready to push ideas forward. If you’re studying construction management or a related field, we want to hear from you.
The KBE Internship Experience
You’ll take on meaningful responsibilities, gain visibility into both field and office operations, and get mentorship from leaders who care about your future.
At KBE, interns don’t just observe — they contribute, collaborate, and build toward careers that last.

Step into the action before construction begins.
Manage data post-bid
Set up new projects
Review bid requirements
Manufacture and distribute documents
Perform phone call solicitations and screenings with regards to upcoming bids

You’ll work alongside seasoned professionals across Estimating and Field Operations. KBE interns learn early, add real value, and are encouraged from day one. Many of our interns return as full-time team members because we believe in building careers, not just projects.
