KBE Building Corporation is the Design Builder for the new construction of a Residence Hall at SUNY Binghamton University.  This residence hall will be home to university students beginning in the Fall of 2027.  The 112,280 sf, 6-story building provides 364 beds and multi-purpose spaces. The “L” shaped building will be block and plank construction at 6.5 stories with primarily brick veneer exterior. The site is a sloped 2.75 acre forested section of land between Oneida Hall and Mountainview College.

We are seeking bids for the following services: Masonry; Precast Plank; Fire Protection Systems; Plumbing Systems; HVAC Systems; Electrical Systems; Sitework, Foundations; Slabs; Elevators, Structural Steel – Furnish Only; Miscellaneous Metals; Millwork; Roofing; Metal Wall Panels; Waterproofing and Joint Sealants; Doors, Frames and Hardware; Windows; Glazing Systems; Drywall, Insulation and Rough Carpentry; Flooring; Tile; Acoustical Ceilings; Painting; General Trades; Wall and Corner Protection; Toilet and Bath Accessories; Fire Extinguishers; Residential Appliances; Epoxy Flooring; Landscaping; Fireproofing; Shower Surrounds and Lavatories; Final Cleaning

This project has a minority, women and veteran participation goal of thirty-six (36%) percent for award to subcontractors holding current certification from the State of New York. The breakdown is as follows:

  • 18% MBE

  • 12% WBE

  • 6% SDVOB
