KBE Building Corporation is serving as Construction Manager at Risk for Sunrise Senior Living's newest assisted living community in Tarrytown, New York. The project combines the restoration of the historic Goebel House with a substantial new addition, creating a modern senior living community that respects the site's architectural heritage while meeting the evolving needs of future residents.
Once complete, the community will offer 85 assisted living and memory care residences in a welcoming environment designed to promote comfort, connection, and personalized care.

The project includes the complete renovation of the four-story Goebel House, where interior demolition and abatement paved the way for a full restoration. Careful improvements to the building's brick façade, windows, doors, and roofing preserve its architectural character while preparing it to serve a new purpose for generations to come.
Complementing the restored landmark is an 80,000-square-foot addition that expands the community with modern resident accommodations and shared living spaces. Constructed with a structural steel frame and designed to seamlessly connect with the historic building, the addition reflects Sunrise Senior Living's commitment to providing thoughtfully designed environments that balance comfort, functionality, and long-term durability.
