Benchmark at Mount Pleasant brings a new standard of senior living to Westchester County. Located in Thornwood, New York, the 91,000-square-foot community offers thoughtfully designed assisted living and memory care residences paired with hospitality-inspired amenities that promote wellness, engagement, and connection. Serving as Construction Manager at Risk, KBE Building Corporation partnered with Benchmark Senior Living and the project team to deliver a welcoming environment that balances comfort, accessibility, and specialized care. As Benchmark's first community in Westchester County, the development represents an important addition to the region's growing senior living landscape.

The KBE Foundation celebrated the 11th year of its Construction Career Scholarship program by awarding $18,000 in scholarships to 18 graduating technical high school seniors. Since 2014, the program has helped 190 students pursue rewarding careers in the commercial construction industry.

KBE's annual Construction Career Scholarship Awards Night took place on May 13th, 2025 at Farmington Gardens. During the ceremony, the KBE Foundation awarded $18,000 in scholarships to 18 talented young men and women from Connecticut who are pursuing careers in construction after high school.

Earlier this month, Wampanoag Country Club celebrated a major step forward in construction with a "topping-out" ceremony—a time-honored tradition symbolizing progress and achievement. The final steel beam was lifted into place, bringing the framework of their new clubhouse to life.
