KBE Building Corporation, in collaboration with READCO Property Management, celebrated the official groundbreaking of Stonington Village, a new multi-use development located in Stonington, CT. The ceremony included demolition work of the existing Regal Cinemas theater, which closed its doors in September of 2022.

Earlier this month, Wampanoag Country Club celebrated a major step forward in construction with a "topping-out" ceremony—a time-honored tradition symbolizing progress and achievement. The final steel beam was lifted into place, bringing the framework of their new clubhouse to life.

Golden shovels and hardhats were positioned Wednesday afternoon in front of a large hole that will become the foundation of the new Wampanoag clubhouse, but before club leadership, town officials, and members of the design and construction team held a champagne toast and tossed their shovelfuls of dirt at the ceremonial groundbreaking, club President Glenn Cunningham remarked on the significance of the day.
